World Class Cabernet Sauvignon Grown on Volcanic Slopes Overlooking the Historic Silverado Resort in Napa Valley
The One Thousand Vines Vineyard was planted in 2010 by wine industry veteran Mike Moone with his long time friend and neighbor, renowned vineyard manager Sal Renteria.
The volcanic soil was created by boulders thrown from Mt. St. Helena during its final explosion. This distinct soil type creates a unique Cabernet Sauvignon profile only found in this small area of Napa Valley.
Shawna has had the pleasure of working with Mike on this project as winemaker since the inaugural vintage. Together they have fine tuned this wine to its optimal blend. Enjoy!
Private vineyard tastings & tours available upon request. Please contact us to visit this incredible vineyard with panoramic views of the Napa Valley.
